Welcome to Reelyr ("we", "our", "the service"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service description
Reelyr is an automated short-form video generation platform. Users submit topics, and our pipeline produces research-backed scripts, AI-generated voiceovers, captions, and rendered video output, then optionally publishes the output to third-party social platforms the user connects.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You are liable for any activity under your account.
3. Credits and payments
Access to video generation is metered in credits. Credits are purchased through our payment provider (Stripe). Each credit entitles you to one video generation. Credits do not expire. Credit purchases are governed by the Refund Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Generate content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights
- Generate sexually explicit content, content involving minors, or content promoting violence
- Circumvent rate limits or abuse the generation pipeline
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or redistribute the service in bulk
- Misrepresent authorship — generated content must be labeled as AI-generated where required by platform or law
5. User content and ownership
You retain ownership of the topics you submit. Generated output is delivered to you under a broad license for personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms and the underlying AI model providers' usage terms. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of generated content complies with applicable platform rules (YouTube, Instagram, etc.) and law.
6. Third-party services
We rely on third parties including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), OpenRouter and fal.ai (research, script and image generation), ElevenLabs (voiceover), Hostinger (API hosting), AWS (render compute), Cloudflare (storage), and Turso (database). Your use of the service is also subject to those providers' terms where applicable.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or offensive output; you are responsible for reviewing all generated content before publishing. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or specific output quality.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms. You may terminate by deleting your account at any time. Upon termination, unused credits may be refunded in accordance with the Refund Policy.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
